The short version
- You need DPIIT recognition before you can register with Startup Odisha.
- The policy includes a monthly allowance for founders, product development grants and incubator places.
- Amounts and conditions change with each policy revision, so check them before applying.
Who runs it
Startup Odisha is run by the state's MSME Department. It registers startups based in Odisha and administers the support set out in the Odisha Startup Policy.
Main support
Recognised startups can apply for:
- A monthly allowance for founders for a fixed period.
- Grants for building and marketing your product.
- Subsidised or free space at incubators in the state, including O-Hub in Bhubaneswar.
How to apply
Get DPIIT recognition first. Then register on the Startup Odisha portal with your project report and documents. An evaluation committee reviews the application and may ask you to present.
