- Days 1–3
Digital signatures issued
Each director does a short video check so they can sign forms online.
- Days 2–5
Name approved
We apply for your name. The government approves it or asks for another one.
- Days 4–8
Incorporation filed
Directors sign the documents online and we file them.
- Days 7–14

Questions
How long does it take?
Usually 7–14 working days once we have all your documents. It can take a few days longer if the name you want is rejected, the government portal asks for changes, or a digital signature takes time to verify.
How many directors and shareholders do I need?
At least two directors and two shareholders; the same two people can be both. At least one director must have stayed in India for 182 days or more in the previous financial year.
Is there a minimum capital?
No. Most founders start with ₹1 lakh authorised capital. The MCA charges no filing fee up to ₹15 lakh authorised capital, though state stamp duty still applies.
Can I use my home as the registered office?
Yes. You need a recent utility bill for the address and a no-objection letter from the owner, plus the rent agreement if it is rented.
Can I be a director while I am employed elsewhere?
The Companies Act does not prevent it, but your employment contract might. Check whether your employer requires consent for outside directorships.
Will my company get the 80-IAC tax holiday?
Not automatically. You first need DPIIT recognition, and then a separate approval from the Inter-Ministerial Board. Only eligible startups incorporated within the qualifying period get it. We can advise on both applications.
Ready to register your company?
Send us your proposed names, directors and state. We will reply with an itemised quote.
