Common questions
How long does it take to register a Private Limited company?
Usually 7–14 working days once we have all your documents. It can take a few days longer if the name you want is rejected, the government portal asks for changes, or a digital signature takes time to verify.
Can I use my home as the registered office?
Yes, whether you own it or rent it. You need a utility bill no older than 2 months, a no-objection letter from the owner, and the rent agreement if it is rented.
Is there a minimum capital?
No. Most founders start with ₹1 lakh authorised capital, which keeps state stamp duty low. You can increase it later.
Should I choose a Private Limited company or an LLP?
Choose a Private Limited company if you plan to raise equity or give employees ESOPs. Choose an LLP if you run a services firm with partners and want fewer annual filings. An LLP needs an audit only above ₹40 lakh turnover or ₹25 lakh contribution.
